The Sixth Annual Meeting of the Integrated Large Infrastructures for Astroparticle Science (ILIAS) European project will take place on February 16 - 20, 2009 at the Conference Center "House of the Church" in Dresden (Germany) hosted by the University of Technology Dresden. As in previous occasions, the meeting will tackle the tasks carried out along the past period, aiming at:

  • the improvement and coordination of the underground infrastructures,
  • the development of low radioactivity techniques and detectors, and
  • the coordination actions concerning dark-matter direct-search experiments, neutrinoless double-beta decay, gravitational waves and latest theoretical developments.

The scientific program will include invited talks by "external" scientists on related topics and developments of other, similar projects.

The contents of this site will be completed in the next few days to contain the scientific program and further practical information (e.g. details of public transport, conference dinner, etc.). Online registration will be available from January 5th, 2009. There will be a registration fee of 180 €, to be paid cash upon arrival, which will cover coffee-breaks, lunches at the Conference Hall, conference dinner and documentation.

NEW: We can also arrange excursions to the low-level measuring laboratory "Felsenkeller Dresden" on Tuesday or Thursday after lunch. If you are interested, please send an email to Zuber[at]physik.tu-dresden.de.
